By using the site, you agree to these Terms and the related policies below. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Anyone may browse the public catalogue. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to submit material or make a rights attestation.

Quotes is a discovery and research catalogue. It pairs brief quotations and widely circulated sayings with attribution, source, context, date, and confidence information when available. Search rankings, labels, source links, and editorial notes may change as evidence improves.

The site is provided for information, research, and reflection. It is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Individual quotations remain subject to whatever rights apply to their original works. Some are public domain, some are U.S. government works, some are limited excerpts from third-party works, and some are traditional or of uncertain provenance. An unknown author does not, by itself, mean that material is free of copyright.

Except for material belonging to others or in the public domain, Just Brands, LLC owns or licenses the site software, design, original explanatory text, selection, and arrangement. You may use the site for lawful personal and research purposes. These Terms do not restrict rights you already have under copyright law, including public-domain and applicable fair-use rights.

We work to cite primary or authoritative sources and label uncertainty, but we cannot promise that every quotation, attribution, translation, date, or external link is complete or error free. Do not treat a confidence label as a legal opinion about ownership or permission. Please report a suspected error or rights concern to data@justdrops.app.

If you submit material through a submission interface or API, you keep ownership of it. You represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it. Do not submit lyrics, poems, confidential information, sensitive personal data, or material you are not permitted to share.

You grant Just Brands, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, verify, edit for formatting, publish, attribute, and remove the submission for the purpose of operating and improving the catalogue. A submission is not guaranteed to be published.

You may not use the site to:

• break the law, infringe rights, harass people, or submit deceptive rights claims;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security, access controls, or rate limits;
• introduce malware or attempt unauthorized access to data or systems;
• use automated access at a volume that degrades the service or republishes the catalogue in a misleading way; or
• remove source, attribution, confidence, or rights information in order to misrepresent a record.

Normal browser use, accessibility tools, and ordinary search-engine indexing are allowed.

The site links to books, archives, speeches, court opinions, and other third-party resources. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or citation does not mean that Just Brands, LLC controls or endorses every part of the linked site.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law,Just Brands, LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow all of these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Brands, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the site. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may change or discontinue features, remove content, or suspend abusive access. Material changes to these Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
